Am I losing muscle on my GLP-1?
Probably yes. Trial data shows 25–40% of weight lost on semaglutide/tirzepatide is lean body mass. The fix: 2–4 strength sessions/week + 1.6–2.2 g/kg protein/day.
How much protein do I need on Ozempic?
1.6–2.2 g per kg bodyweight per day. A 150-lb person: 110–150g daily. Front-load protein, use liquid protein (shakes, Greek yogurt) when solid food is unappealing.
My workouts feel terrible on Mounjaro. Should I stop?
Keep lifting. Reduce volume (fewer sets), not intensity (same weight). Add hydration + electrolytes pre-workout. Skipping training accelerates the muscle loss.
